Mythical and mystical experience has always played an important role in maintaining the view of the Earth as being a special place to be treated with care and respect. Consideration for the environment can indeed grow from joy and love instead of duty and guilt. A deeper look at nature and at what we have lost in the past are steps to heal the split inside us – and thus to heal this beautiful planet and re-establish its essential glory; to create a world in which all species – human, animal and plant – can flourish.
